2020 Scholarship Winners
If you have one of our past banquet booklets on our front cover, you would read at the
bottom that "We did not inherit this place from our Forefathers...We are merely borrowing
it from our Children." I believe that this phrase says it all. And, that's why in 2009 the
AVF&GA scholarship was created. In August of 2012 it was renamed AVFGA Jeremy
Baillargeon in memory of one of our own dedicated directors, The Association offers a
$500.00 book scholarship to a Berlin High school student and to a Gorham High School
student that meets the requirements as stated on the application such as Wildlife
Conservation, Wildlife Biologist, Game Warden, Forestry etc. Since its beginning in 2009,
$3500 in scholarship funds have been distributed to these students. Again, this year we are
offering these scholarships. Students can get their application from their school Guidance
Councilor.
