Attention Bird Dog Owners!!!
The Northern NH Bird Dog Club was formed in 1988 by a group of local bird dog owners. Since then, the club has grown to host many regional and national bird dog events.
In November of 2016 the Bird Dog Club hosted the Grand National Grouse Dog Championships in Kilkenny via a special use permit from the National Forest Dept. This is the World Series of grouse dog competitions! 72 dogs from all over the United States and Canada participated and took a week to complete!
The club also runs a Spring trial event on the club's Phillips Brook Grounds (Paris Field).
The New England Open Grouse Championship is another major event that the Bird Dog Club hosts every fall in Kilkenny.
The Northern NH Bird Dog Club encourages people that own bird dogs and help each other with training, hunting, and habitat environment.
